During the second quarter 2011, one building totaling 110,000 square feet were completed in the Austin market area. This compares to three buildings totaling 7,500 square feet that were completed in the first quarter 2011, seven buildings totaling 88,189 square feet completed in the fourth quarter 2010, and 21,929 square feet in four buildings completed in the third quarter 2010.
There were 274,873 square feet of office space under construction at the end of the second quarter 2011.
Some of the notable 2011 deliveries include: Medical Oaks Pavilion – PHASE III, a 110,000-square-foot facility that delivered in second quarter 2011 and is now 73% occupied, and 2851 Joe DiMaggio Blvd, a 2,500-square-foot building that delivered in first quarter 2011 and is now 100% occupied.
The largest projects underway at the end of second quarter 2011 were Cirrus Logic Inc Headquarters, a 135,000-square-foot building with 100% of its space pre-leased, and Lakeway Medical Plaza, an 80,000-square-foot facility that is 50% pre-leased.
